The new series, created by Bisha K. Ali, is about a sixteen-year-old Pakistani-American girl living in New Jersey. The teen girl admires superheroes, especially Captain Marvel, and writes about their fan fiction. Surprisingly, she gets superhero powers to handle the cosmic energies. At first, she struggles to handle the new powers she gains but learns to get a hold of them later.
