Since its launch earlier this year,ÂMortal Kombat 11has already been a massive success and broken new records for the long-running, iconic fighting game franchise. Aside from rankingas one of this year’s best-selling games alone,ÂMortal Kombat 11has also been bringing in a number of new (and familiar) faces to the fighting series through DLC, with a new teaser clip giving some hope about the return of a fan favorite.A new clip fromÂMortal Kombat 11’s Twitter account for Sindel, who isthe next fighter making their way into the gameas a DLC character, gives some noteworthy fan service that might hint at something more. For those caught up onÂMortal KombatÂlore, the clip features an intro sequence to a fight between Sindel and D’Vorah, with a reference that has already sparked some speculation. In the clip, Sindel references the death of her daughter Mileena, who was killed at the hands of D’Vorah (in a particularly gruesome fashion) in the story ofÂMortal Kombat X. With that being the case, Sindel goes full Vengeful Mother and prepares to battle the murderer of her daughter.Aside from the clip appearing on the officialÂMortal KombatTwitter account, the game’s creative director Ed Boon similarly posted his own tweet referencing Mileena, and perhaps adding fuel to the fire that we might see her return down the line as a DLC character.Of course, given the way thatÂMortal Kombat Xplayed out, Mileena met a pretty brutal end, so the clip itself of Sindel is probably not much more than simple fan service to a well-loved character. However, given the nature of the tease (and Ed Boon especially being a fan of hints and teases), it wouldn’t be that much of a stretch to hope that Mileena might one day take out vengeance of her own inÂMortal Kombat 11, potentially in Fighter Pack #2. However, for now we’ll have to see what’s in store with Sindel, who will be coming toÂMortal Kombat 11later this month as the third character of five from the first Fighter Pack.Mortal Kombat 11is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and if you have yet to play the game for yourself, you’re able to pick it up now over on Amazon.
Mortal Kombat 11 Sindel Tease Might Give Fans Hope of Mileena's Return
While her fate was left at a grim end, Mortal Kombat 11 fans might be in for a tease from a recent Sindel video clip.
