Same as the 15 Latin American countries, the countries that will be geting a price hike wil affect all tiers, and it will be effective starting next week.

The explanation given by Sony is the same for Latin America, as the company states, the increases are being implemented due to global market conditions. This price hike will enable Sony to “continue bringing high-quality games and value-added benefits” to the service.

Given what has happened to over 20 countries, I’m expecting more price increases to be announced soon. Will it affect North America? I wouldn’t be shocked if it did. Having said that, the last price increase we’ve seen in the US only happened in October 2023, which means we’ll be seeing another price hike in less than two years.
Hopefully I’m wrong, but it looks like Sony is planning a worldwide price hike and is just announcing it per region.
