In the midst of a quiet March for Video Games, Capcom’s latest instalment of theMonster HunterSeries is likely to be the month’s marquee release.

Monster Hunter Riseis dropping on March 26th for the Nintendo Switch and is likely to grab plenty of fanfare from those who loved the previous title,Monster Hunter World.Worldwent on to become Capcom’s highest-selling title of all time and therefore, anticipation is high for the sequel.

Ahead of the game’s launch later this month, Capcom is kindly providing players with a second opportunity to play the game. Following the first demo back in January, players can soon get their hands on demo number two.

Here’s how to download theMonster Hunter Risedemo 2 on Nintendo Switch.

What’s different between demo number one and demo number two?

Capcom hasconfirmedthat there won’t be a great deal of difference between January’s and March’s demos. What they have said, however, is that players will be able to play through the training missions again, try all 14 weapons and hunt an array of monsters.

The main difference this time out though, is players can play through a whole extra mission. This mission will allow players to take on the ferocious Fanged Wyvern, Magnamalo.

First of all, players will need to keep an eye out on the Nintendo Switch eShop for when the demo goes live later today. Following that, it should be a case of selecting the download option and you’re away.

For players who played through the first demo and still have it installed on their Nintendo Switch, things are a little different. Rather than searching through the Switch eShop, when trying to open the previous demo, players will be prompted to download an update. This update will allow them to play through the second demo, having their mission counter reset to 30.

How big is the demo?

Thankfully not too large, the main demo is 1.8GB with the update only 0.2GB for those who still have the application downloaded.
