Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid DragonIntro
Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragonis originally a manga by Cool Kyoushinja, ongoing since 2013 and with 10 volumes so far. It’s basically part of the monster musume boom, a comedy focusing on friendship and yuri with several dragon girls. However, it also has several deep themes and messages, focusing on human society.
Cool Kyoushinja is known for having several manga in publication simultaneously, either handling the scenario, art, or both roles. He’s most notably the author ofPeach Boy Riverside, which is also getting an anime adaptation in July 2021. It’s very rare for a mangaka or a light novel author to have two anime adaptations of their work ongoing at the same time. One particularly popular author which already achieved that is Reki Kawahara. Back in late 2012, the anime adaptations of bothSword Art OnlineandAccel World, two of his novels, were airing at the same time.
