The gaming world is now hyped up with the release ofEnotria: The Last Song. This upcoming title is going to be released on PC and PlayStation 5 digitally on June 26, 2025. Not only that, physical versions of the game on PlayStation 5 are just a few months away.

However, just like the hugely popularBlack Myth: WukongandCities: Skylines 2, the Italian folklore-inspired fantasy title is also being delayed on Xbox. And after knowing the reason, you might get frustrated, just like the developers.

Enotria: The Last Song Is Indefinitely Delayed on Xbox

Recently, the CEO of Jyamma Games, Giacomo Greco, talked withInsider Gamingabout the delay in the arrival of the game on Xbox. Greco stated that the game had been postponed due to a lack of communication from Xbox regarding an issue where the developing company could not access the store page to submit the game.

The CEO also confirmed that this issue is not because of the hardware limitations on the Series S, and everything is fine on that specific console after some minor visual tweaks in the graphics settings.

This is what the indie developing studios had to say about the scenario on theirwebsite:

Unfortunately, at this time, we have to announce an indefinite delay of the Xbox version. We understand how disappointing this news is to the Xbox community. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts and the hard work of our dedicated team, we’ve encountered challenges that have delayed our release on the Xbox platform. We want to emphasize that this is not a decision we’ve made lightly.

Now, the most astonishing fact is that Jyamma Games has been facing this issue for months, and there has been no proper fix from Microsoft’s console company.

Greco also stated that they have been trying to communicate with the Xbox support team regarding the issue, but the popular console company is all deaf till now. That’s why the release of this upcoming action-adventure title on Xbox has to be postponed until a proper solution.

Black Myth: Wukong Is Going Through the Same Patch

Just likeEnotria, thehugely popular single-player RPG from Game Science is suffering a delay in launch on Xbox. This game has sold more than 10 million copies across the globe in just three days of its release.

Not only that, the game shattered all the records on Steam and became the most-played single-player game on the platform, with more than 2.4 million concurrent players and still at the top of the list of top-selling games.

The reason for this game being delayed on Xbox is its optimization issues on the Series S. In the past, we have already seen how this lower-gen console has fallen behind running newer-gen titles, the most recent example being Baldur’s Gate 3.

Regarding the issue, this is what Microsoft stated:

We’re excited for the launch of Black Myth: Wukong on Xbox Series X|S and are working with Game Science to bring the game to our platforms. We can’t comment on the deals made by our partners with other platform holders, but we remain focused on making Xbox the best platform for gamers, and great games are at the center of that.

The Chinese development team has been facing this issue since June and addressed it as it was“currently optimizing the Xbox Series X|S version to meet our quality standards”in aForbes article.

Game Science has yet to receive a positive resolution from Xbox regarding the launch ofBlack Myth: Wukong. So, it’s pretty concerning how the long-hailed console company will address the issue ofEnotria.
