Where Can You Find Captain Klinger?
Metaphor: ReFantazioCaptain Klinger can be found in the Nord mines during the prologue of the game. You’ll encounter him as part of the main quest, so you can’t exactly skip him to save time.

He’s a level-five boss, and will put your skills to the test, however limited they may be at the time. Not to worry, you may breeze through him pretty quickly if you know how to approach him and his annoying lackeys.

How to Beat Captain Klinger?
This fight might seem difficult at first, but once you commit to this strategy, you’ll find that it’s no more difficult than fighting one of the common enemies you’ve come across earlier in the game.
The secret behind how to kill Captain Klinger rests in this one strategy: get rid of his Mage Soldiers first! These enemies will cast Mage Shield, buffing Klinger’s defense and making him harder to kill.
For this reason, we recommend you focus your attacks on them and deal with them as quickly as possible. Strohl can use Diagonal Slash to deal damage while The Protagonist uses Cyc.
Once the Mage Soldiers are gone, Captain Klinger is going to start a vicious offense strategy and use a lot of fire-based attacks. Strohl’s Warrior Archetype becomes incredibly helpful here, as it’s very resistant to Klinger’s Mage Fire.
You want to keep attacking Klinger with your party members until Klinger starts preparing to use Mage Flames. Make sure you Guard to avoid taking life-threatening damage when this happens.
