There is no mention of the game’s framerates, resolution targets and performance yet, but we suspect Konami will share as we get nearer the game’s release.
Speaking of which, the game’s release date was announced for August 21, 2025, atSony’s State of Playearlier this month. The release date trailer also confirmed that the Snake vs. Monkey mode, which features the monkeys from Sony’s Ape Escape franchise, is also coming back. Given that Ape Escape is a first-party Sony IP, the Xbox version won’t be getting it but willreceive a mode featuring the Bomberman franchise. It’s currently unknown whether this means Bomberman will replace the monkeys or if it’ll be an entirely new experience.
Metal Gear Solid Delta is more than a visual upgrade, as the remake will also feature a more modern control style, the battle damage system has been upgraded, and more. Konami says that MGS3 Delta “rebuilds every corner of the world.”
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Easter will be available on August 28. 2025 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
