The CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios, Johan Pilestedt, posted this, congratulating his team and discussing other matters. He also referred to the original plan of the studio for new content and weapons in the near future.Helldivers 2is one of the most played games on Steam in the last couple of weeks, and the player base keeps growing.
Helldivers 2 is finally moving forward with new content
Some weeks after being released,Helldivers 2faced a very peculiar problem. Because of the popularity of the game, the servers were packed, and many players could not enter the game without waiting several minutes.

This continued for almost three weeks straight without any resolution. But a couple of days ago, Arrowhead Game Studios increased the server capacity ofHelldivers 2to almost 800,000, so this will mean no more waiting to enter the game. The CEO of the studio celebrated this.
Johan Pilestedt, the CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios, posted on X a very wormy message to players and his studio members, congratulating them on the work well done about the functionality of the servers. Pilestedt put the following: “I’m really happy and proud of the @arrowheadgs team for an amazing achievement; the servers handled all @helldivers2 players this weekend without problem.” He added that this will mean that the team can concentrate on creating new content for the game, as was first planned before these complicated weeks.
A new way to deliver democracy is coming for Helldivers 2 players
With this post full of hope, fans congratulate the team and begin to ask about new things for the game. Some players suggested things like powersuits, mechas, or even vehicles. Helldivers 2was a spectacular success for PlayStation Studios; in the first 4 days, the game sold more than 1,000,000 units. This is the first Sony game to be released on PS5 and PC at the same time. In Steam, the current users are more than 400,000, making it the second-largest title on the rank with more concurrent players. Helldivers 2 is only besideCounter-Strike 2and upside games likeDota 2,Palworld, andCall of Duty. The game was launched on February 8.
