On the heels of its success, the studio reportedly debuted exclusive footage and news from its upcoming IPs. While the crowd got a look at Fede Álvarez’s horror sci-fi filmAlien: Romulus, the highlight of the evening seemed to be from the Marvel panel. A new video fromFlorence Pughand Sebastian Stan’sThunderbolts*was reportedly screened at the event.
The Marvel film, which reportedlywrapped filming recently, will see Florence Pugh return as Yelena Belova after her appearance inBlack Widowand team up with David Harbour’s Alexei Shostakov, Stan’s Bucky Barnes, Hannah-John Kamen’s Ghost, and more. The film will reportedly see the team of antiheroes sent on a s*icide mission by Valentina de Fontaine.

According to Variety, the new video showed exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and new looks for Pugh andSebastian Stan. The expo also saw new footage fromCaptain America: Brave New World, The Amateur,and the Disney filmMoana 2, which sees Dwayne Johnson return. The expo reportedly also debuted footage from the live-actionSnow Whitefilm with Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot.

While films such as Florence Pugh’sThunderbolts*still have a long way to go for release, the upcomingDeadpool & Wolverinealso received love at the tradeshow. According to Variety, the most-anticipated Marvel film (as well as the only theatrical release from the studio) of the year, debuted a 12-minute extended sequence at CineEurope.
The footage reportedly shows Wade Wilson, played by Ryan Reynolds, living a domestic life with his friends, which includes Rob Delaney’s Peter, when the TVA knocks on his doors (as shown in the trailer). Reynolds reportedly made a special message for CineEurope attendees and addressed them while donning his Deadpool costume.

The actor had previously retired from the role after 2017’s blockbusterLogan.
TheDeadpool & Wolverinealso reportedly had bottles of Ryan Reynolds’ alcohol brand Aviation Gin waiting outside with signs reading ‘Welcome to the Deadpool Ginematic Universe’. The film will see Deadpool go on a multiversal adventure with Logan as he is recruited by the TVA to go on a mission.
