There is another class of items called ‘Ergo’ and ‘Special Ergo.’ These can be found scattered throughout the world and essentially work as money bags that don’t get lost upon death. You should use them as soon as you get them to level up, buy items, or upgrade your weapons. Ergo is a currency in the game, as well as a method of leveling up, but it’s only useful if you use it.

Items are stored in the Equipment menu under Consumables.
