To find Blast Cores, you first have to make your way to theDry Valley,find a Lava Cave, and then defeat a Blaster mob in the Lava Cave. The hard part is finding the Lava Cave, as these caves blend into the environment and aren’t marked on the map unless you do so manually with a map marker. You’ll know you’ve found a Lava Cave if you find yourself in a cave with bubbling magma.
Remember to bring some heat resistance like Cool-Headed Charms or Snowberries, as you won’t survive the heat otherwise.

How To Defeat Blaster Mobs
The trick to killing a Blaster is to bait it into exploding. The way these mobs work is that they try to get as close to you as possible before exploding in your face to deal damage. This is easier to do if you have aVillagerfollowing youaround as he can serve as a meat shield to distract the Blaster, but it is completely doable even without their help. Once you defeat a Blaster mob, they’ll drop a Blaster Core for you to pick up.
