While LEGO Fortnite is full of challenging enemies, Brutes are some of the biggest and baddest you’re going to experience. They have some big health bars and a lot of defense for you to chew through. Your best shot at defeating these boss monsters is to bring friends or come locked and loaded with a lot of ranged options. Don’t forget those health items, either. Personally, I suggest a bit of Slurp Juice for that healing over time.
In the early stages of the game, Brutes are some of the hardest enemies you’ll face. In fact, if you haven’t made some major upgrades to your equipment and weapons, it’s best to stay away from these behemoths.They can see you from a long ways away, so make sure you give them a wide distance when passing by.It’s not uncommon to see them fighting with other wildlife or enemies. Anything that gets in a Brute’s way is pretty much done for.
Don’t hide behind objects thinking you’ve taken cover. Brutes hit object and just keep going. If you’re behind a large rock or tree, it will be broken into resources as the Brute crashes through it. Keep moving.
Where To Find Brutes
While you may initially expect to find Brutes in the Grasslands Biome, their location is a little more specific than that.In order to find these beasts, you’ll need to find a beach. Once on the beach, look around for one of these enormous Brutes.Don’t run in without a plan, because these enemies are some of the most unforgiving in the game.
Claiming Brute Scales
Want to get the Brute Scale off this bad boy? Well, it’s a tough fight. For starters, go ahead and forget about melee options. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but it’s definitely risky. Instead, equip a crossbow.Preferably, this crossbow would be green or blue to help with damage. If you’re stuck rocking a grey weapon, just make sure you bring a lot of arrows.And I’m talking about a lot of arrows. From there, you need to focus on keeping your distance and chipping away at the Brute’s health. If you have one, go ahead and hold a shield in your left hand. You don’t want to take a hit from one of these things. The damage can range between several hearts to a one-hit elimination. Keep that shield handy in case you get in a tight spot. It may or may not help, but it can’t hurt.

Sand Brutes
Where To Find Sand Brutes
While the grassland Brutes have very specific spawn locations, the Sand Brutes seem to be a little more universal.If you’re in the hot desert biome, you just have to search around for one of these big Brutes. The good news is that once you find a spawn location, they tend to be pretty reliable. You could even mark it on the map for future adventures.
The first thing to know is that the desert biome is a step up from the grasslands biome.Enemies are tougher, the climate is more dangerous, and you generally need to be more prepared. Do you know what that means for Sand Brutes? They make basic Brutes look easy. That’s right. Don’t go into this fight without some equipment and weapon upgrades.While it was recommended for the previous fight, it’s almost required for this one. If you’re going to take this Brute’s scales, you’re going to need a ton of ammo again. Even if you’re confidently in a group, I wouldn’t risk anyone going into melee. Run and gun this Brute until it finally collapses with that sweet, sweet loot. The good news is that, aside from being tougher, the move sets are the same and the enemy is largely unchanged. Come on, remember how easy it was before?
