KonoSuba Fantastic Daysinherits the anime series' DNA
With the usual antics of Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness,KonoSuba Fantastic Daysaims to be as close as possible to the anime. The character collection RPG features brand new artwork and an UI made in the anime’s style, and even the sound effects are identical.
KonoFanis fully voiced in Japanese, with all the seiyuu from the anime reprising their roles. The game also uses animated portraits made with Live 2D, which you should be familiar with if you followVTubers. Furthermore, brand-new original characters made for the game are also playable. Players will be able to enjoy reliving through their favorite moments of theKonoSubaanime, or go through a new original story tailor-made for the game.
Turn-based + Real Time Battle system
As for the battle system, similarly to howKonoSubais a parody of Isekai series, subverting anime fans' expectations,Fantastic Daysuses a peculiar mix of turn-based and real time, subverting players' expectations. Most notably, each character has gorgeous animated cut-ins when using their skills.
Overall,KonoSuba Fantastic Daysis definitely a promising gacha. Last but not least, the game is also getting localized in several languages besides English, so many fans will be able to try it out. I’m definitely looking forward to it as aKonoSubafan (and a Yunyun stan).
