10 Open World Games With Amazing Side Quests
These games have such immersive universes that the optional content ends up being just as good as the main campaign.
Unlike Melee At The Mill before it, this new set of opponents also are able to weave some more story and intrigue into things this time around.

With Miller Kreyzl’s blessing, it’s time to get back into the ring. Let’s get ready to rumble.
Pay Innkeeper Lawrence Your Entry Fee
A couple of days after completing Melee At The Mill, you’ll notice a “New Quest” marker in Zhelejov. Track it down, and you’ll be led to Innkeeper Lawrence.
If you say, “I want to take part in the fights,” Lawrence will collect your 100 Groschen entry fee from Kreyzl and allow you to join in on the action.

The only problem is that the village’s champion, Fiala, is currently banned by his wife from fighting.
Convince Fiala To Fight
Speak with Fiala to attempt to convince him to get back into the ring. He’ll explain his situation and that he doesn’t wish to go against his wife’s wishes anymore.
If you pass a skill check in this conversation, the fights will immediately resume. Fail the check, and you’ll have to attempt to convince Dorothy yourself.

Dorothy is the owner of the bathhouse in town, so you’re able to typically find her sitting outside of it on a bench.
Ask her why Fiala isn’t allowed to fight anymore, and she’ll explain that Fiala beats up all the men in town so badly that no one visits the bathhouse after the fights. Instead, everyone stays home to recover for days, and this directly affects her business.

Pass another skill check here, and she’ll change her mind and allow Fiala to fight. If the skill check fails, simply offer to cover Dorothy’s losses due to the fights, fork over 50 Groschen, and she’ll be swayed.
After checking back in with Fiala to let him know he’s in the clear, the competition can commence.

Fight Hannes
Seek out Hannes, the local musician of Zhelejov. He’s usually around the Wagoner’s Inn that Lawrence operates.
Hannes is your first opponent, so wager 10 Groschen on your bout with him if you please, and get ready to be transported to the arena immediately.
The level of difficulty from your fights in Semine to the fights in Zhelejov doesn’t differ much, so utilize the same strategies as before to take Hannes down.
He’s quick and likes to go for grabs, but dodge and counter proficiently enough, and he’ll soon go down.
Speak with him afterward to collect the wager you won.
Losing too much health in fights? There’s no penalty for taking a nap between matches to regain strength.
Talk to Anna The Bathmaid
Before heading off to your next opponent, Bohunek, take note of Bathmaid Anna standing in the audience. She’ll call you over to speak, so please oblige.
Anna will explain that Bohunek became very aggressive with her the last time he visited the bathhouse, so she’d appreciate it if you used your upcoming fight to teach him a lesson.
Agree, and maybe there will be something in it for you once the fight is over.
Fight Bohunek
The scoundrel Bohunek is next. If he’s not hanging out around the Inn, you may find him having a practice match in the boxing barn.
Once again, speak with him, wager your Groschen, and get back into the ring.
Take this opportunity to get out any pent-up feelings you may be harboring, and really let Bohunek have it. With Anna’s encouragement behind you, you can lock Bohunek into punch after punch until he collapses into a heap on the ground.
Once he regains consciousness, speak with him, collect your prize, and let him know you’ll be back for more if he doesn’t leave Anna alone from now on.
Tell Anna Of Your Victory
Head straight to Anna, who is likely now back at the bathhouse. While she doesn’t have any spare Groschen to reward you, she will offer a couple of skills to teach you instead.
If you’re interested in becoming more proficient in alchemy or survival, Anna has you covered. Pay her the required fee to earn extra experience points in these categories, perhaps earning a new perkpoint along the way.
She can teach the following:
Fight Fiala
You’re ready for the title fight with Fiala, so locate him and let him know it’s his turn to be pummeled.
He’ll also want to place a 10 Groschen wager on the match, so go ahead and take him up on this.
Noticeably stronger, faster, and able to take a punch, Fiala will definitely be your biggest challenge yet.
Still, you should be a boxing pro by now, and he ultimately doesn’t throw anything new your way that you haven’t seen from a different fighter already.
After the fight, you can collect your winnings and take note that Fiala is also now a new Skill Teacher you can take advantage of.
The most interesting option here is to study unarmed combat with Fiala at the apprentice level, which will boost your skill a decent amount. Sure, you’ve already proven you may handle Fiala one-on-one, but he can still serve as your coach from now on.
For a fee, Fiala can help you improve the following:
Apprentice
Collect Your Prize From Lawrence
All that’s left to do is tell Innkeeper Lawrence of your victory. Impressed, he’ll give you the grand prize of 200 Groschen along with two Savior’s Schnapps.
He also has one more piece of information for you. Although you’ve now bested everyone in Semine and Zhelejov, there’s still one more grandmaster fighter waiting for you nearby. This unlocks a new task, The Best For Last.
If you’re up for the challenge, go seek out your final opponent in the Trosky region.
