Kat Dennings’ starring role as Max Black in the CBS sitcom2 Broke Girlsbrought her immense popularity. Audiences began to realize her comedic chops and Marvel cast her as Darcy in the firstThorfilm. Her character provided the film with a much-needed levity and relatability to the epic nature of the film.

She reprised her role in many other MCU projects and has become a fan-favorite character. However, she is not the only person from the beloved sitcom to make an appearance in the MCU. Garrett Morris, who played the role of Earl Washington in2 Broke Girlsalso made a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in one of the MCU films.

Many fans would be surprised to know that Morris has a history with the Marvel character Ant-Man. He played the character in an SNL skit in the 70s, and he had a blink-it-and-you-‘ll-miss-it cameo in 2015’sAnt-Manstarring Paul Rudd, where he plays the driver of the taxi on which Scott Lang falls after he steals Hank Pym’s suit.
The cameo serves as a full circle moment for him as his cameo serves as a clever easter egg for fans who remember his SNL skit. He joked toCBRsaying“You probably went to the men’s room and missed it, but that’s all right”.Morris is clearly happy about his ‘tiny’ contribution through his hilarious bit in the film.

Kat Dennings Rewatched Past Footage of Her as Darcy forWandaVision

She revealed that she rewatched old footage of her as Darcy from past MCU films in order to remember her performance and voice modulation that she did for the role. She also tried to bring a little bit of maturity to her performance as Darcy is now in a higher position in her profession than in her previous appearances. She said,
“That’s such a good question because when you’re acting, there are only a few things you’re able to do. You can’t change your face, but you can change your voice and how you speak. So I’ve tried… I mean, my voice is so annoying and people are definitely quick to point that out and there’s nothing I can do about it.

So I definitely did watch some Darcy stuff just to remember what I was doing with my voice and my register, and try to bring it a little more down, you know, cause now she’s a professional; she’s a doctor!”
Dennings’ most recent appearance as Darcy was in 2022’sThor: Love and Thunder. It is not known when or if the character will ever return in the MCU’s future.
