According to a Reddit user, a specific character from theCyberpunk 2077expanded universe could be portrayed by none other than Karl Urban ofThe Boysfame. This would be a perfect casting if the character makes their entrance to the franchise in the game’s sequel, which is currently being planned.
That said, there aren’t many actors who have the potential to portray such a unique character, while also ensuring that the franchise’s fan base does not lose hope in the casting choice. The Cyberpunk 2077 Character Gamers Think Karl Urban From The Boys Could Play in a Sequel?
Even though there has only been one game in theCyberpunk 2077franchise, there is already an expansive universe that has plenty of characters and lore that CD Projekt Red can pull from. But there is one character that Reddit user,Seccion31, believes could be portrayed byThe Boysactor, Karl Urban.
This specific character is Morgan Blackhand, and from can be seen regarding concept art of the character, it is easy to see where Seccion31 is coming from. Just like his character inThe Boys,Morgan Blackhand looks pretty much the same, right down to the scruffy beard and hair style.
Even his attitude would stay the same, as he is a unique personality who can take on any challenge with a high probability of success. This would make it very easy to use Karl Urban as a model for the character, as CDPR already has the concept ready and waiting, and would barely have to edit the design to suit his physique.
Since Karl Urban is used to portraying characters who are very rough and tough and all about guns and bombs, it would be very simple for him to adapt this character to his own style, which is why Reddit users are all for him taking on the role.
When Could We See Morgan Blackhand, and Could CD Projekt Red Hire Karl Urban?
At this rate, it will be awhile before we see anyone take up the mantle of Morgan Blackhand, if we see anyone take up the role at all. The only reason is because CD Projekt Red has just begun the planning phases for aCyberpunk 2077sequel, and gamers do not know whether Morgan Blackhand will actually appear or not.
However, if Morgan Blackhand does arrive in the sequel, it is highly likely CD Projekt Red could hire Karl Urban to portray him. The studio has already managed to get some very famous actors to take part inCyberpunk 2077, such as Idris Elba and Keanu Reeves.
This shows that there is large potential for the franchise to get even more star power under its belt, as the franchise will constantly grow and evolve to have an even larger fan base. This means more money can be spent on even bigger DLC that could expand on the massive universe that the developers have worked so hard to create.
Even though it would be an amazing casting choice to bring Karl Urban intoCyberpunk 2077, it would most likely prove to be a challenge. He is a rather famous actor and is currently working on a large amount of projects at this current moment, meaning he would be very difficult to schedule and would possibly turn down the opportunity to play the part of Morgan Blackhand.
