Released in 2014 only on the previous console generation, despite new consoles having just released the past fall, players control Dracula, formerly Gabriel Belmont, in an open world. It was by far the worst received of the recentCastlevaniagames and the last to release in the franchise aside from remasters such asÂCastlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood.
