Jujutsu Kaisenhas come to an end and, the same is true for our lovely days with the six-feet-tall Gojo Satoru. From his majestic appearance to his aura, he almost instantly became a fan-favorite character. His blue eyes entranced the audience, and despite his tragic end, he’ll always be remembered fondly.

While Gojo’s vibrant personality is irreplaceable for many fans, there’s no dearth of handsome white-haired anime men.Jujutsu Kaisenfans might want to addA Sign of Affectionto their watchlist to fill the void Gojo left. Although the experience will be wildly different from the grim and intense reality ofJujutsu Kaisen, at least you’ll find a new fictional character to swoon over.
Gojo Fans Need to Direct their Attention to Itsuomi Nagi
First published in 2019, Suu Morishita’sA Sign of Affectionmanga has become a prominent shojo title among romance fans. The anime adaptation of the series was released earlier this year and caught fans’ attention with its beautiful animation. Itsuomi Nagi, the main character in the series, checks all the boxes that make him reminiscent of Gojo Satoru. He is six feet tall, has blue eyes, paired up with gorgeous white hair.
While Itsuomi has the same features as Gojo, he’s not as playful.A Sign of Affectionis a romantic anime centered around two college students, Itsuomi and Yuki. Their personalities and lives are extremely different, while Yuki is a shy and reserved girl, part of which is due to her hearing disability, Itsuomi is a traveler.

Gojo’s Voice Actor Opens Up About Jujutsu Kaisen’s End, Promises Long Road Ahead for the Upcoming Anime
He’s familiar with many cultures and countries around the world. As their paths entwine, their worlds expand and a wave of new experiences gets introduced in their lives. From the description alone, it becomes pretty clear that the anime greatly differs fromJujutsu Kaisen. So, is it even worth watching for Itsuomi alone?
IsA Sign of AffectionEven Worth Watching?
ForJujutsu Kaisenfans,A Sign of Affectionmight be a new experience altogether if they’re not familiar with romance anime. The anime has its strengths and weaknesses. Unlike many other romances, it doesn’t take much time for the characters to realize their feelings. The romance starts fairly early on and there’s not much drama between the central duo.
A Silent Voice Director was Forced to Move Away from the Original Manga to Make the Anime Adaptation More Presentable
As individualistic as both characters are, sometimes it’s hard to understand the basis of their feelings for each other. Most shojo series are plagued with unnecessary love rivalries and dramatic twists, in comparison to that the fairly less drama in Yuki and Itsuomi’s life is refreshing. But, sometimes the plot can feel bland at points. However, the art style is stunning in both the anime and the manga.
The representation of Yuki’s disability is well-written, we see the world through her perspective, and seeing her experience new things is heartwarming. Most character designs in the anime are visually appealing besides Itsuomi.

If someone is on the hunt for a light-hearted romance anime,A Sign of Affectionbecomes a must-watch. While Itsuomi might pale miserably in comparison to Gojo, he might distract us for a while before we switch back to gushing and crying over Gojo.
BothJujutsu KaisenandA Sign of Affectionare available to stream on Crunchyroll.
