Jujutsu Kaisenis probably one of the few series whose fans are hell-bent on doing unspeakable things to the mangaka. And, no, these unspeakable things are nowhere near pleasant. Gege Akutami has pissed off a majority ofJujutsu Kaisenreaders with its ending, and the Gojo-baiting did not sit well with anyone.
The mangaka loves gatekeeping important plot elements, and fans hate him for it. But worry not because the feeling is mutual. Why else would he kill Gojo and then use his return like a carrot on a stick to keep fans glued onJujutsu Kaisen? Well, the manga may have ended at a low point, but it seems like Gege Akutami is not done hurting fans yet.

TheJujutsu Kaisen 0movie is a prequel to the anime series and shows the past of Yuta Okkotsu while he was a newly recruited sorcerer under Gojo. The movie showed his struggle against Suguru Geto, Gojo’s former classmate, who wants to use Yuta’s powers for nefarious purposes. By the end of the movie, Geto stood defeated by Yuta, who had seared off half of Geto’s upper body and left him severely injured.

But there is one scene in the movie that will forever make fans pull out their hair in frustration. The scene in question takes place right after Geto is defeated by Yuta and he has a final meetup with Gojo. Satoru Gojo says his final words to Geto before killing him off-screen.
However, the scene actually omits what Gojo had said to Geto. In fact, Geto’s response indicated that Gojo did not even curse at him in the end. This proves Gojo did not say anything mean to Geto but rather something that a longtime friend would say. He had to finish Geto nonetheless, but fans are paranoid over what Gojo could have possibly said.

It has been three years since the release ofJujutsu Kaisen 0, the movie, and fans were finally starting to make amends with the fact that many of the series’ mysteries will never be solved. Once again, embers of hope arose in the minds of fans. Maybe, this time, Gojo’s final words to Geto would actually be revealed. But of course, all hope was washed down the drain when the dialogue between Gojo and Geto was muted. Once again, Gojo’s words remained a mystery as fans were reminded thatGege Akutamihates their guts.

Jujutsu Kaisen fans have already accepted the deaths of Gojo, Nanami, Geto, Toji, Mai, and plenty of other characters. All they wanted was a small reveal of what Gojo might have said to Geto, hoping for a few crumbs of bromance. But Akutami refused to give fans even that bit of solace and left them hanging.
