McGregor claimedhe surpassed Dwayne Johnson’s recordto become the highest-paid debut actor. In a deleted tweet, McGregor also claimed that he did most of the stunts in the film himself. He recalled one of the crazy stunts in the film where he was thrown off a boat into the middle of the Atlantic Ocean (via IndieWire). He revealed that he was dragged through the seawater while holding onto an anchor.

Conor McGregor’s Hollywood career might be in jeopardy
On November 22, a jury at the Dublin High Court found Conor McGregor had assaulted Nikita Hand in December 2018. The verdict came for Hand’s civil lawsuit which accused McGregor of assault and r*pe. The alleged crime happened when Hand attended a party with McGregor at the penthouse suite of the Beacon Hotel.

The court ordered McGregor to pay Hand €250,000 ($262,000) in damages. Following the verdict, McGregor released a statement, denying the claims. Inhis response on X(now deleted), he shared that he would appeal the decision of the Dublin High Court. He expressed regret over the mistakes he made in the past. He even apologized to his wife Dee Devlin for“stepping out”of his marriage.
It will be hard for him to find a gig in Hollywood after the conviction. While his UFC peers continue to enter Hollywood, the doors may have closed for McGregor after the allegations.
