Members of the Los Angeles County Fire Department presented the award before she took the stage to celebrate the achievement with her daughter, Blue Ivy.

She started her acceptance speech by expressing gratitude to the firefighters for their efforts amid the recent LA fires,saying, “I’d like to thank and acknowledge and praise all of the firefighters for keeping us safe.”
“I just feel very full and very honored. It’s been many, many years. Just want to thank the Grammys, every songwriter, every collaborator, every producer, all of the hard work,”she further stated, reflecting on her long journey.

Her historic win was met with a standing ovation from the audience, including her husband, Jay-Z, as well asTaylor SwiftandBillie Eilish, whobecame emotionalover her victory.
Eilish and Swift were also nominated for Album of the Year alongside André 3000, Sabrina Carpenter, Charli XCX, Jacob Collier, and Chappell Roan. Though they didn’t take home the award, both singers appeared genuinely happy for Beyoncé, with Swift eventoasting to her winwithJay-Z.
