When it was announced that3 Body Problemwas all set to have its own live-action recreation, fans couldn’t contain their excitement. Many of them believe that it can very well be the next big thing out there, including numerous industry big wigs. Rian Johnson, one of the executive producers, is one of the big names who has backed the series to enthrall viewers for the next few years. But they would be wise to remember that things can still go very wrong for the franchise.
Fans are excited for the ‘next big thing’
When the first episode of3 Body Problemwas streamed on Netflix in March, fans couldn’t help but notice that the series was able to do justice to Liu Cixin’s novels. That is to be expected from the likes of David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, who, along with Alexander Woo, are at the helm of the series.
Benioff and Weiss know a thing or two about bringing to life an author’s vision, having been a part of theGames of Thronesset-up for a long time.
Executive producer, Rian Johnson, even took to Twitter to sound his approval.

The first season of3 Body Problemrevolves around the first novel in Liu Cixin’s trilogy, giving the unversed fans a window into the world weaved by the 60-year-old. But for the faithful of the series, it was just a trip down memory lane.
The series has stayed true to the first novel in its debut season.

Moreover, the creators would be wise not to depart significantly from the books, a mistake that sounded the death knell forGame of Thrones’Season 8. The fact that they have Cixin’s books to fall upon shall hold them in good stead to avoid theGame of Thronesfiasco. Only time will tell.
