Henson opened up about one trick that Terrence Howard kept in his back pocket to keep himself from getting too aroused during his intimate scenes with Henson.

OnThe Angie Martinez Show, way back in 2017, Taraji P. Henson talked about how she loved the role of Cookie, and how her chemistry withTerrence Howard, whom she referred to as one of her coolest friends, depends on the relationship that the two have cultivated over the years. When talking about their intimate scenes, Henson revealed what exactly Terence Howard used to do to keep himself from getting aroused. She said:

Every time we laid there he kept talking to his little male member ‘Don’t do that!’…’No don’t do it, Taraji is going to punch me’

This kept the actor from getting too carried away, as the reaction that his body would have wouldn’t have been in his control.Taraji P. Hensonalsorevealed how she herself made sure that Terrence Howardwould not get carried away, which Howard thought was downright “twisted”.

Henson revealed that his severely repulsed Howard, who allegedly called this tactic “twisted”.

Henson revealed that as an actress, she has starred with Howard in a slew of projects, and considers him a close friend, which can make it difficult to keep certain situations “professional” while shooting. She said that it is easier to work with first-time associates, as the nervous energy keeps the actors on their toes, and makes it easy to not get carried away. However, this does not seem to be the case with actors who are close in their personal life, such as Henson and Howard.
