All That Hard Work by Ryan Reynolds, Only For Marvel To Pull a UNO Reverse

As we have heard quite a few times by now,Deadpool 3wasn’t almost made.Reynolds and the teamhad to shed a lot of blood, sweat, and tears before they got the green signal to get the movie made. But the fun part was that, even though Reynolds had pitched a ton of different ideas for the movie when the studio did give it thumbs up, it was to the very original idea that the actor had forDeadpool 3. In a recent conversation alongside Hugh Jackman withThe Project, Reynolds said:

I think it is sort of tough to frame the making of this movie as like the underdog story that couldn’t. I pitched 18 different things to Marvel, and what is funny to me, is that the one that they finally were like ‘this is the movie,’ was kind of the first one I pitched.

Looks like Marvel and Reynolds did not need to go through so much trouble, as the first one was the right one all along. And if bothRyan Reynoldsand Marvel agree on that, chances are fans would too. Given the hype around the movie, with Jackman returning as Wolverine to accompany the fan-favorite Merc with the Mouth, fans are in for a treat.

Industry insider Daniel Richtman says (viaX) that Jackman will be “sticking around for a bit more,” and we may get to see him taking up arms alongside other X-Men and the Avengers in an ensemble movie, most probablyAvengers: Secret Wars. While fans should not jump at the rumor, if this does turn out to be true, it would be a treat for those who have longed to see the X-Men and the Avengers sharing the screen.
