Kohei Horikoshi, the mangaka ofMy Hero Academia, has revealed he has a stack of characters and their backstories. But he didn’t include them in the manga. This is very surprising asMy Hero Academiawill end on 30th August. At the last moment, Horikoshi admitted he wouldn’t include them in the future and his utterance shocked us.

This is one of the mysterious and unrevealing sides of the mangaka. One For All, a stockpiling quirk, is already iconic. Fans probably wanted to know its past inheritors as well, but Horikoshi kept them deprived of the information.
Fans can speculate about existing characters as well. For instance, detailed backstories of pro heroes like Jeanist, Mirko, and Hawks could provide deeper insights into their motivations and struggles.
Unseen redemption arcs for characters like Debi, Toga, or even Shigaraki could offer different perspectives on their characters. Shota Aizawa’s detailed backstory could’ve also revealed the reason behind his stoic personality.
