Ebon Moss-Bachrach returns to his role of Richie Jerimovich in the third season ofThe Bear. The actor earlier won the Primetime Emmy for Best Supporting Actor for the series. One of the most memorable scenes of the actor came in the second season episode,Forks. The critically acclaimed episode saw Moss-Bachrach’s character training at a high-end Chicago restaurant.

From polishing forks in the restaurant at the beginning of the episode, Richie finds a small reward when he serves a deep-dish slice, Chicago-style pizza. Richie discovers the magic of blending fine dining with shared experiences as Taylor Swift’sLove Storyplays in the background.

In the climax scene of the episodeForksofThe Bear Season 2,Ebon Moss-Bachrach‘s Richie is in his car, singing the lyrics of Taylor Swift’s songLove Story. The scene depictedthe character’s catharsisafter a fantastic day of work at the high-end restaurant.

During a recent interview with The Guardian, Moss-Bachrach was asked about the scene involving the singing. Moss-Bachrach’s rendition would have earned him respect from a few Swifties. He revealed that the scene took some rehearsal and was a bit challenging to shoot.

He shared that his teenage daughters weren’t really Swifties. But the actor admired theCruel Summersinger as she was a great songwriter and cat lover, and she liked Rhode Island. However, he still had to keep the lyrics of the song next to him during the take.

Moss-Bachrach revealed that after multiple rehearsals, the song was now burned into his heart and head. He added that he could never forget the lyrics ofLove Storyagain. He shared withThe Guardian:

That took some rehearsal. My daughters aren’t really Swifties, for whatever reason. I think she’s probably a great songwriter, she’s a cat lover, I think she likes Rhode Island, so in my book, she’s great.

I did have to have some of the lyrics right next to me, but now they’re burned into my heart and burned into my head. I don’t think I’ll ever get those lyrics out of me.

He revealed that he had a newfound respect and sympathy for people working in the kitchen. He was pretty sure that he was not tough enough to work in a busy kitchen. Moss-Bachrach shared (via Yahoo! And I think if we feel back even further in the third season and I see kind of like just how wild and crazy task it is to open up a restaurant and what it takes to keep it going. I definitely didn’t have any idea how hard it is. So I have a newfound respect and sympathy for everyone that’s working in a restaurant. I don’t think I’m made up of such tough stuff to work there.

Earlier, FX moved up the release of the latest season by three hours. All episodes of the third season were made available on Hulu starting at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Wednesday, June 26. The release time was initially set at midnight on June 27.Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, and others returned for another fantastic season of the series.
