The success of Paramount’s neo-Western drama series,Yellowstone, created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, prompted another prequel to follow. The first prequel,1883, followed the life of the Dutton family during the Old West. The show was well-received by the audience, which led to the release of another prequel series,1923.
This show also followed the arduous journey of a generation of the same Dutton family, during the time of Western expansion. The highly anticipated second season of the show is about to drop, and Brandon Sklenar is taking center stage alongside Hollywood legends Harrison Ford and Dame Helen Mirren. It’s rare for young actors to get this opportunity so soon in their careers, but it seems Sklenar got lucky.

In an interview withForbes, Sklenar revealed that they have already begun filming for the second season of the show. This time the actor has gotten the golden chance of sharing the screen with his ‘parents’ more often than in the previous season.
I do get plenty of Helen and Harrison time, and it’s going to be special. I mean, the finale of the series is probably one of the best things I’ve read in my life.

I’m just excited to work with great directors and great actors, and just continue to learn and grow. I’d like to direct at some point in the next five years. I’m kind of just trying to learn.
