Iron Fist Team-Up Abilities
Hero Required
Dragon’s Chill
Iron Fist fuses Chi into Luna Snow and grants her a ring-AOE attack that damages and slows enemies while also healing her allies.
Iron Fist doesn’t get any team-up abilities from other heroes, but he does grantLuna Snowa pretty powerful attack, called Dragon’s Chill.
The Dragon Chill gives Luna snow a bit more damage and healing potential. This is the only AOE attack she gets, so having her on your team is a good idea.
Iron Fist Counters and How to Deal With Them
Iron Fist shares the weaknesses of every melee character:heroeswith good ranged attacks. Because if you can’t close the distance, you become a sitting duck.
Snipers are the number one threat to Iron Fist.Characters likeHawkeyeandBlack Widowcan easily make quick work of him. The best strategy for them is to either close the distance or stay out of their sight and keep moving.
On the other hand, duelists like the Punisher and Star-Lord, have strong ranged attacks. The Punisher with his shotgun can easily take out Iron Fist, and Star-Lord can keep a distance with his flight ability while emptying his mags into Iron Fist.
The Punisher can be dealt with by just being mobile and timing your Dragon’s Defense, whereas Star-Lord is quite weak, so if you manage to catch him you may make easy work of him.
Also, any character that has CC abilities is a bad match for Iron Fist as they can shut him down quite easily. These includeMantis, Peni Parker, Hulk, and the Winter Soldier. All of them can stun or stop your attacks. The best strategy for them is to bait their CC abilities and cancel them with Dragon Defense.
Best Team Comps With Iron Fist
Iron Fist is a solo character, meaning he doesn’t get much from a team comp. Most of the time, you will be taking on solo fights with Iron Fist.
As for any team comps, you should have a strong healer. Jeff and Luna Snow are good options. Rocket Racoon can also keep Iron Fist alive with his healing bubbles. It might be a good idea to go with Luna Snow for the team-up ability. But, all of these work well.
As for Duelists, you must have aBlack Panther. The combo of Iron Fist and Black Panther is lethal for the enemy team to deal with.It is also a good idea to have a ranged hero supporting you from the backlines, like Hela, Namor, Hawkeye, or Punisher.
For tanks, you can pretty much go for anything. It mainly depends on your team and the map. Hulk and Doctor Strange are good options, as they can shield their teammates. But, any tank goes.
