How To Get Partition Walls In Animal Crossing: New Horizon
NOTE: PARTITION WALLS AREN’T YET LIVE IN ANIMAL CROSSING: NEW HORIZONS. THEY WILL DROP ALONGSIDE THE HAPPY HOME PARADISE DLC OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS. WE’LL ADD ANY FURTHER INFORMATION TO THIS POST WHEN IT CROPS UP.
Players will now be able to give more dimensions to a room other than a boring box thanks to the new adjustment options, more importantly, partition walls!
Partitions can be placed on their own or with a pillar alongside to give a more polished look. Rotate and drop wherever feels best for you.
Below is a great example of the huge difference this feature can make, turning what would’ve been a mishmash room into more of a home with clarity on what goes where.
To place a partition wall head to the “Other” section of the design menu, here you’ll find a rectangle with a checked grey texture, select it!
Once placed, press and hold A to move it about, using your analog stick you can also rotate the wall whilst still holding down the move button.
If you decide the partition wall isn’t working out the way you’d planned just press Y and you’ll be able to remove it from the room.
