Helldivers 2is still getting players back onto the servers every single day. However, with the current balance update, some might be turning the game off entirely.
The patchHelldivers 2has at the moment is not what players describe as “fun.” Instead, the game has multiple large Terminids spawn at once. What was before a simple “kill bugs” mission has now become anoverwhelming endeavorwith Bile Titans and Chargers covering your screen.
Is the team at Arrowhead Game Studios going to revert this patch? Or are players expected to find other solutions inHelldivers 2?
Helldivers 2 Has Become Unbalanced and Players Are Frustrated
Helldivers 2is a surprise to many because of its success and the sheer power it holds over the gaming community currently. It’s the only highly valued PvE-only game on the market, and it will remain on top so long as no one comes along to one-up them. And if Arrowhead Game Studios doesn’t shoot themselves in the foot.
At the moment, we could see them making a misstep with the current balance patch ofHelldivers 2. While players are still having fun and figuring out the meta, Arrowhead Game Studios released a patch a few days ago to give their philosophies and practices when it comes to balancing.

Head of Product Testing, Katherine Baskin, said in theblog post:
I believe players are scared of Nerfs, because it will ruin the fantasy of a weapon, ruin their fun. It is extra important to us to tread carefully so that we don’t ruin fantasy and fun when we do nerfs. We hope you, our players, will tell us when we cross that line inadvertently.
As a result,Helldivers 2nerfed multiple guns and weapons like the SG-225 Breaker and the Railgun. Arrowhead still wants to provide players with a challenging and rewarding experience but nerfing so many fan favorite weapons has backfired on the community.
Helldivers 2 Patch – What the Players are Saying
In the situation depicted in theRedditthread, where five Bile Titans and seven Chargers are on the map, other players suggest running out of bounds for the mission. In doing so, you’ll be marked as a traitor, which will have a barrage of bombs and explosives hailing down on your location.
Run outside of mission bounds. Be branded a traitor. Run around and hope the incoming barrage solves all your problems.

Othercommentsare making fun of the devs for saying “use the weapons you like” but they happened to be nerf fan favorites across the board.Helldivers 2should be a game where almost all the weapons should be reliable, but with any game, PvE or PvP, a meta will rise up and become the standard for certain combat scenarios.
