InHonkai Star Rail, there are many missions that will require you to complete a series of confusing activities with unclear instructions. In To: The Faint Star specifically, you’ll need to create yourself a path to get the materials needed to complete the mission.

To simplify the mission for you, we will take you through every step you’ll need to do to complete it. Once you finish it, you’ll be able to pick up some great rewards including Stellar Jadeand Trailblaze EXP.
Where To Get To: The Faint Star Mission
Instead of having to search for this mission on the map, you will actually end upreceiving a text message on your phonefrom Rocky.It will be an accidental message that he meant to send to Lesley, and once you reply it will prompt the beginning of the mission.
You’ll want to immediately open up the mission from your phone, and thennavigate to the Master Control Zone, where you’ll find Rocky with his master, Bernard.Approach Rocky, and begin chatting with him to get the ball rolling.

How To Complete To: The Faint Star
After you talk with Rocky and Bernard for a bit, they’ll ask for your help in finding a repeater, located within the Storage Zone region. To reach this area,use the Outside the Control Center (First Floor) fast travel point,and then make your wayeaston the map.
Once you reach the area, head through the door andinvestigate the computer at the back of the room.Then, head back outside and go through the door into the next room on the western side.
This is where the mission might get a little bit confusing. To start,head across the orange lit-up bridge in front of you.On the other side, you’ll pick up theUltra Nickel Part.Then, cross the orange bridge again to arrive back on the platform you started at.
Now,head down the path on the leftwhere you’ll find an enemy waiting for you. you’re able to defeat them, or avoid them if you prefer to. Afterward, continue down the path ahead andapproach the control device and activate it.This will open the blue bridge which you can cross to the other side.
Follow the path down to the bottom,where you’ll come into contact with another enemy. Defeat them, and thenhead up to the top floor.Just up aheadon the circular platform,you’ll find the last Ultra Nickel Part.
Right where you picked up the last Ultra Nickel Part, there will be ahidden Control Device behind here.Activate it, and thenhead back down to the bottom floorwhere you defeated the last enemy.Activate the Control Device down here as wellto unlock one more golden bridge.
Now, head back up to the area where you found the last Ultra Nickel Part.Follow the path on the right, and cross the orange and golden bridges to reach the main door you entered through at the beginning.Then, make your way through the doors and back into the room where you’ll find the computer. Approach it andprovide the two parts to fix the repeater,then investigate it.
Eventually a prompt will appear, and you’ll want to click ‘Next page’. Then choose ‘2157 AE, Months 56-present’.It will play a recording of Lesley’s voice for you, but it will be damaged and cut off. Now, you’ll want togo to the Base Zone and use the Monitoring Room travel point.
Inside here, the computer will ask you what surveillance tape you wish to review. Choose ‘Next page’ again, and view the’Disposal Site'.After you’ve viewed it, choose ‘End of observation’, andhead to the Watcher Zone fast travel spot in the Master Control Zone.When you arrive, Bernard will be on theright-hand side, and you’ll want to approach him to chat.
Bernard will provide you with two items:Red Signal Log, and Blue Signal Log.Return to Rocky, who can be found in thesame location where you started the mission in the Master Control Zone.He will notice that you have two items and will ask which one is for him.
At this moment, you will have to decide whether to give him theRed Signal Log, which tells the truth of Lesley reciprocating Rocky’s feelings, or give him the Blue Signal Log that lies and says that Lesley turned him down.Whichever log you choose, you will get the same outcome andrewards from the mission. However, it is totally up to you whether you want Rocky to know the truth but suffer with the fact that he most likely won’t get to be with Lesley, or give him the lie to prevent him from pursuing the relationship. We ended up choosing the truth, to which Rocky then decides to go find Lesley, wrapping up the mission.
