The imminent release ofShadow of the Erdtreehas FromSoftware fans eager to know more about what they will encounter in the Land of Shadows. This is so they can understand how to outfit their current build better to deal with the new threats in the DLC.
However, Hidetaka Miyazaki wants players to feel more freedom in this new realm. The team has made some additions to the expansion, which should make it easier for players to gain the upper hand in combat, even if they don’t have the necessary level requirements in every attribute!

Consumable items have been a staple in Soulsborne titles for a long time. While arrows and throwing knives are the most common forms of throwables in games, Hidetaka Miyazaki took it a step further by adding items such as pebbles, firebombs, and even excrement! The throwable options will increase with the release of theElden RingDLC.
In the first trailer forShadow of the Erdtree, right after we got our first glimpse of the Dry Leaf Artscombo, we saw a Tarnished lifting and throwing a large flaming pot. At first glance, this appears to be an XL version of the Firebombs, or Fire Pots, available in the base game.
The recent exclusive gameplay showcase from the Red Bull Levels event confirmed that we are now getting a bigger version of these consumables.

Pots inElden Ringoffered interesting combat opportunities. By using different resources found in the world, players were able to craft a variety of pots that could provide different advantages. While the Pots could only be used once, they could be crafted an infinite number of times as long as players had the required resources.
These Hefty Cracked Pots should allow players to inflict even greater amounts of elemental damage or status effects, but they will probably require even more resources to craft. Given that some crafting items, such as Trina’s Lily, are finite in the game world, it would necessitate the player to carefully plan their pot usage.
