After a long wait, Netflix finally released Kevin Smith’sMasters of The Universe: Revelation Part 1. The new show serves as a direct sequel to 1983’s Filmation seriesHe-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
Part 1 of the show consists of five episodes and picks up right where its predecessor series left off. The show also flaunts an incredible cast, including Chris Wood (He-Man), Mark Hamill (Skeletor), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Teela), and Liam Cunningham (Man-At-Arms).
So, you could understand why millions ofHe-Manfans were looking forward to the release ofMasters of The Universe: Revelation.
Well, Part 1 is finally available to watch on Netflix; however, most fans didn’t get what they expected from the show.
Masters of the Universe: Revelation on Netflix: Why Fans are Angry?
Masters of The Universe: Revelationfeatures several characters from the original series. In the show, Orko, Cringer, Man-At-Arms, andHe-Mango against Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, and Beast-Man.

Apparently, the show picks off with Skeletor trying to destroy Castle Grayskull. He wants to use the castle’s power for himself, but of course,He-Manis standing against him. Interestingly, the battle between the two ends up with their death in the first episode.
After that, we move a few years ahead in the story, and the show focuses on other characters. Thanks to the intense battle betweenHe-Manand Skeletor, there’s a massive crack on Eternia. And with the magic leaking away, the entire Universe is at stake. So, Teela, a Scavenger, tries to save the planet by going on a quest to find the Sword of Power.
Of course, the show’s premise is definitely interesting; however, fans are disappointed that we can barely seeHe-Man. Prince Adam only appears in the first episode, and after his death, we see him in some flashbacks. Then, fans were hopeful after he came back to life, but he dies again.
In theMasters of the Universe: Revelation trailer, we can very well seeHe-Manappearing as the main character. However, fans think that"He-Man"was only used as a marketing tool; the trailer mostly used the footage from the first episode.
Obviously, we might seePrince Adamplaying a big role in Part 2; however, Part 1 didn’t offer the Nostalgic value fans expected.
