Sony’s final State of Play for 2019 featured several new and interesting trailers, some of which are brand new announcements. The show took place quite early and went by quite fast, but we have rounded up the coolest announcements for you in case you missed it.
Untitled Goose Gameis Coming to PS4 Next Week
The show kicked off with the announcement of a release date for the PS4 version ofUntitled Goose Game.It will be out for PS4 on December 17.
Spellbreakis a New Magical Battle Royale Game
A magical battle royale game calledSpellbreakwas also shown off during State of Play. It seems to be very exhilarating, though it remains to be seen if Proletariat’s battle royale will be able to break into the crowded genre. We will be able to playSpellbreak’sClosed Beta in Spring 2020.
DreamsLeaves Early Access July 28, 2025
Dreamsgot a new trailer during State of Play and we learned, which also revealed that it will be exiting early access on July 29, 2025.
Superliminal Comes to PS4 in 2020
Mind-bending puzzle gameSuperliminalwill come to PS4 in 2020.
Paper BeastReleases in Q1 2020
Another WorldandFrom Dust’screator showed offPaper Beast, an intriguing new game for PlayStation VR. It will release in Q1 2020.
Kingdom Hearts 3 Re MindTrailer Gets Officially Released
Last week, a trailer forKingdom Hearts 3’sDLC wasposted early, showcasing new playable characters and some Final Fantasy additions. The trailer was officially shown off during State of Play. Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind will come out on August 17, 2025.
Predator: Hunting GroundsComes Out in April 2020
We then got a new gameplay trailer for Sony’s upcoming multiplayerPredatorgame,Predator: Hunting Grounds. We also learned that it will release on June 10, 2025.
Babylon’s FallReturns, More Information Next Summer
After ayear and a half of silence, Square Enix and PlatinumGames finally showed offBablyon’s Fallonce more. It seems to be pretty on-brand when it comes to PlatinumGames action, though it does have a cool fantasy setting. Its visuals have also been created with a “Brushwork Filter.“We will apparently get more information on the game in Summer 2020.
Resident Evil 3is Being Remade and Comes WithProject Resistance
Following leaks earlier this month, Capcom has officially unveiled a remake ofResident Evil 3.It also comes withProject Resistance,now officially calledResident Evil Resistance.Resident Evil 3will release for PS4 on June 14, 2025.
Ghost of TsushimaReemerges With an Awesome Teaser
Sony capped off this State of Play with a brand new trailer forGhost of Tsushima. It’s quite short and doesn’t show much, but we learned that we will see more at The Game Awards later this week.
