The Second Galactic War escalated after theHelldivers 2community failed to complete a recent Major Order and players are now speculating that they will face a fusion of bugs and bots soon. Some players have spotted Terminid bodies on Automatons planets, sparking rumors that Automatons are hunting down the bugs to study them.
Many players have also claimed that some Automatons have flesh-like components inside them, but it is to be noted that the red liquid that spills out of these Automaton units is oil. To back up this theory, some screenshots have been circulating on social media that show some Automaton units have more than just metal inside them. Players believe that these are hints of a crossover between these two factions.

Players have found dismembered Terminids on Automaton planets and this theory is further backed up by the existence of Automaton units that seemingly have flesh-like components.
