Helldivers 2was a successful attempt for PlayStation to dip its toes in the live service domain of gaming and is still collecting flowers from it. However, gamers believe it was only a holdback for the imminent return ofFallout 76.
Bethesda’s game was released almost 6 years ago but was never out of sight despite the age and other tough competition in the market. It has been hailed as the live service game of the decade beating out modern multiplayer titles like what Arrowhead Game Studios accomplished.
Helldivers 2 Has Been Dethroned by Fallout 76
While it is still a great game to behold with the promise offree post-launch contentand the start of anexpanding universe, it still doesn’t hold the candle next to the quality of Bethesda’s work. Fans have collectively agreed that the 2018 release is the best live service game of the decade.
It is no easy feat to achieve this title, especially in an oversaturated gaming community full of multiplayer titles that have gained massive support and following. It is worth noting that thesuccessful live-action adaptationfrom Amazon Prime Video has had a significant hand in increasing the player count and boosting its popularity.

It is also proof that decent projects related to a certain franchise can have a strong impact on other related projects across various platforms and media.
I’m enjoying it, not alot of companies put a focus on single player in their live service games. Sure it’s multiplayer, but it’s good for solo players to. Just wish they would fix many bugs in it. Like getting stuck sometimes and having to quit.

The gaming community also took the time to acknowledge the work and effort Bethesda has put in to accommodate players who are more interested in playing alone in the multiplayer segment of the game. The live service aspect of the game is the best of both worlds but it wouldn’t be a perfect one without the fair share of bugs.

Despite being different kinds of video games, there will always be a comparison. It is unavoidable in a game industry that always sees the need to rank each game as if there is a hierarchy of power and popularity.
