Helldivers 2is an epic experience for players who dreamt of fighting space bugs for the planet’s freedom. Arrowhead Studios has achieved something spectacular with the game and the imaginative nature of the developers could use an extra boost from the community.
The players can go on and on for days talking about the efficiency of the weapons in the game and occasionally throw some ideas to make them better. Spending countless hours on a game has opened their eyes to what is missing and it is time for the developers to respond.

The gaming community has some strong opinions regarding the efficiency of some weapons, especially whenthe developers decided to nerf most of themincluding the fan-favorite rail gun. One fan came up with a brilliant idea that could for a new weapon that offers similar features to the quasar cannon.

The player also suggested that a laser minigun should act as a support weapon that would cover all levels of armor. These new additions could attract returning players who contemplated quitting due to recent changes.

Pilestedt once mentioned thata Gatling gun or any weaponwith a similar destructive capability would only appear in the game if it meets certain requirements of his which mostly falls on realism. Unless the developers have come up with an accurate weapon mechanic for the gun, it won’t make its way into the game.

The recent changes, however, made it difficult to encourage players to dive back for more and the director promised that he would look into the problem and make the necessary changes. It is hard to blame the community for constantly whining and complaining when the majority of their problems are valid and accurate.
Nerfing the efficiency of primary weapons will discourage players from using them ever again and it will prolong the war effort. Perhaps the inclusion of the Pulsar cannon will offer the players more options on how to go about a combat scenario.
