While Rogue Factor’s action game Hell Is Us won’t be available until its release in September, gamers can play it as early as next week, as a demo is set to be released on all platforms.
Funnily enough, the initial announcement was just for consoles, with the PC announcement held back a bit to poke fun at gamers who kept asking when the demo would return.
Hell Is Us Can Be Played Starting Next Week
While PC players received a demo on June 2, which was then pulled on June 24, it’s being reintroduced, and this time, the console versions are included.
The announcement was made on theofficial Hell Is Us X(formerly Twitter) account, where it mentioned that the game’s demo will be dropping on August 12 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and, yes, even PC.
For those wondering, it’s debatable whether Hell Is Us is a Souls-like. While some consider it a more traditional third-person action game, some see it as another entry in the burgeoning genre. Regardless of how you tag the game, prepare for a challenge that will feature a stamina bar, implement parries and dodges, which are all used in Souls-like games.
There seems to be a bigger emphasis on exploration and storytelling compared to Souls games., and the devs themselves do not classify the game as a Souls-like.
