Seasons 1 and 2 had a lot going for it. Besides the intriguing and heartfelt storyline, the drama show also featured cameos from some real-life WWE legends like CM Punk and his wife, as well as former WWE star AJ Lee.

Additionally, Netflix’s latest move coupled with its early 2024 deal with WWE has further raised hopes forHeelsseason 3. As per the whopping $5 billiondeal, the WWE’sflagship weekly programRawwill begin streaming exclusively on the streaming platform starting January 2025. Additionally, as a part of the agreement, Netflix will also stream WWE shows and specials likeSmackDownandNXT,along with live events likeWrestleMania, SummerSlam,andRoyal Rumble for territories outside the US.Heelsseason 3 would certainly pair well with WWE’sRaw.
Another thing raising hopes forHeelsseason 3 is WrestleMania 40’s roaring success.

WWE’s biggest event of the year – WrestleMania 40 was a resounding success. The company revealed in apress releasethat the event had broken WWE’s all-time gate record by 78%. For the unversed, a gate record is the sum of money collected at a sporting venue from the sale of tickets.
The show which took place on April 6 and 7, hosted 145,298 fans from all 50 states of the US as well as from 64 other countries. WrestleMania 40 also became the most socially viewed event of all time with 660 million views across two nights.
