While fans read about his broken ribs, legs, and other numerous injuries, one recent revelation from hisMayor of Kingstownco-star not only paints a picture of the horrible nature of the accident but also of the resilient Renner.

Michael Beach revealed that Renner clinically died when he was first admitted to the hospital right after the accident. TheDahmeractor has been consistently posting about his recovery process to his Instagram. He recently appeared in a Super Bowl commercial for Silk Protein Almondmilk.

Jeremy Rennerspent two weeks in the hospital and underwent months of healing and rehabilitation. He returned to his normal life and career and has almost finished filming thenext season ofMayor of Kingstown. His co-star in the series Michael Beach only has great things to say about Renner when interviewed by The Direct.

During his interview, Beach went into details about Renner’s terrible snowplow accident which theMission: Impossibleactor had divulged to him during their on-set conversations. Beach revealed that Renner actually died (clinically) at the time of the accident. Beach added that Renner broke 38 bones when he was crushed by the snowcat.

Despite all these injuries, Beach admired Renner for his quick and strong recovery. He called Renner a war horse, who felt stronger and stronger with each passing week of his recovery. Beach also added that the actor kept going through the process despite not knowing how it would turn out to be. Beach told Russ Milheim ofThe Direct:

“Jeremy [Renner] is a war horse, man. I mean that guy, you know, he broke 38 bones. He actually died, which I didn’t know until he told me, and he’s been coming back. And he says he wasn’t sure how it would be. But he was ready. And he says every week, he feels stronger and stronger. And there’s been no interruption because of his physical abilities or not. He’s in it doing it. He’s great. Yeah, he’s a great guy, man. And he’s really as tough as nails.”

Michael Beach plays the interim prison warden of Kingstown Prison, Captain Kareem, inMayor of Kingstown. He revealed thatRenner’s nephew, whom he tried to save from the 14,330 lbs weighing snowplow, now plays a role in the series.

Michael Beach Says Jeremy Renner’s Series Has Almost Completed Filming Its Third Season

Michael Beach also shared an update aboutMayor of Kingstown. The series now requires only another month to complete filming the third season. Beach also added that he loved how the world of Kingstown has been fleshed out in the series. Bleach revealed that he would often write emails to the show’s writers about his character in the series, to make sure that he is not redoing something he already did. Bleach shared:

“We have about a month left [shooting]… It’s great. Because I mean, that’s the kind of thing that I love, the writing, the harshness of the world that we exist in on ‘Mayor of Kingstown.’ And so that, I just love it. And I’m always writing emails to the writers and stuff about, well, what about blah, blah, blah, you know, and I’m sure I’m a pain in the ass to them. But I really want to attempt to make sure I’m making sense and not redoing something I already did.”
