FuRyu announced a brand new Hatsune Miku figure, the Hatsune Miku 2022 Chinese New Year figure, with preorders open now.
FuRyu, a game developer who also regularly makes merchandise such as figures, announced a collaboration with Chinese site POPPRO to release a new figure, the Hatsune Miku 2022 Chinese new Year 1/7 scale.FuRyu already launched a similar figure in 2021.
POPPRO is a Chinese site covering all Vocaloid content, operated by Shanghai New Creation Culture Development (SCLA). POPPRO is widely known as the Chinese version ofPiapro, the English and Japanese official site with Vocaloid information ran by Crypton Future Media. The figure was announced by FuRyu’s brand F:NEX (pronounced “fennecs”) and is based on an original illustration by Liita.

This new Hatsune Miku figure was carefully modeled, painted, and looks gorgeous. Her twin-tails iconic hairstyle is majestic, flowing in the wind, and its color gradation looks incredible. Miku’s costume and pose are full of details, from the accessories to how she grabs the tree’s branch. The pedestal completes the Chinese new year feel with its white snow, a sign of good fortune for the upcoming year, and flowers announcing the coming of spring.
