In May 2021,Crunchyroll reportedthat Attack on Titan had created a new record that was certified by the Guinness Book of World Records. The record was for the largest comic book published.

The largest comic book published measures 7,030.00 cm² (7 ft² 81.65 in²) and was achieved by Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) published by KODANSHA LTD. (Japan), verified in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan, on 13 April, 2021.
Fans lovingly called it the titan-edition. The book was 1m in length, 20cm in width, and 13.7 kg, 36 times bigger than the standard manga volumes. According to the myth, it was designed so that Eren could read it in his Attack Titan form. Its price was set at $1514 and copies were sold out in under 2 minutes.

Eiichiro Oda’s World Records
Eiichiro Odahas achieved two Guinness World Records, both in the same category. In 2015, the author set the record for the most copies published in the same comic book series by a single author.
By the end of December 2014,One Piecehad 320,866,000 printed and in circulation. Eiichiro Oda released a subsequent statement:
I will not forget my gratitude toward my predecessors in the manga world, the colleagues whom I work with, and my readers, and from now on I want to continue to draw a work that will not shame this record.
In 2022, Oda broke his own record as the number of copies printed till July 2022 surged to 516,566,000. GivenOne Piece‘s popularity, the manga was bound to achieve phenomenal numbers but the results probably surprised Oda the most.
Atweet by One Piece staffconfirmed that the total number of copies ofAttack on Titanhad exceeded 500 million.
Whileboth authors have reached remarkable milestones, you have to admit that the idea of a giant book for Titans is instantly more appealing. The editor in charge ofAttack on Titaneven admitted that he was nervous after he learned about the price of the book and the number of copies that would be printed.
