Last year,a rumor surfacedthat Sony was allegedly remastering the entire God of War Greek saga and compiling it into one package that’ll be released in 2025.
While some assumed it would be announced at Sony’sfirst State of Play of the yearheld earlier this month, nothing God of War-related was announced.

God of War Greek Remaster Rumors Still Hold Weight
According to Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb, who has been known to leak correct info, the God of War Greek remaster will be announced close to the franchise’s 20th anniversary in March.
Grubb quoted artist Kris Anka, who said they were commissioned to create an Odin piece for the God of War 20th Anniversary Show (yes, there will be a show), which is set for March.
Bear in mind that even with Grubb’s “confirmation,” Sony has not announced this remaster compilation, so treat it with a grain of salt. That said, if a God of War 20th Anniversary Show is set to happen, this would be the perfect venue to announce it.
If an announcement does happen, it’s not something that would completely surprise people, as Sony has been on a remaster kick lately with Horizon Zero Dawn, Until Dawn, etc.

The last Greek God of War game was God of War 3 Remastered, which was released for the PS4 in 2015. After that, Santa Monica Studio rebooted the game with a new Norse backdrop, which was very well received.
