The latest update in the series has revealed that Lilith might be the only Vegapunk satellite who is left alive and on the side of the Straw Hats, with York helping the Five Elders. If Oda moves forward with the idea of Lilith being a Straw Hat Pirate, it will not only bring a big change to the crew but also make them much stronger than before.

While some fans are happy that Oda chose one of Vegapunk’s satellites to join the Yonko crew on their journey, others are disappointed that he ignored other characters who also hinted at joining the crew. The characters in the discussion are Carrot and Yamato.

Yamato

However, before doing so, she knocked out Lilith so that York could not detect her and inform the Five Elders.

While Atlas’ plan was successful, it confirmed that Lilith might be the 11th member of the Straw Hat Pirates. Before the Egghead Island arc, fans believed Yamato would be the one to join the crew, as she wanted to travel theOne Pieceworld and explore it just like Oden. She would have been a great addition, as she was extremely strong and the child of Kaido.

While the Wano arc made fans think Yamato was a good choice for the Straw Hat crew, before the Wano arc, many believed Carrot would be the one to join the crew, as she even traveled with them for some time. Also, she is one of the strongest members of the Mink tribe, which would have made her a crucial member of the crew.

One PieceFans Are Confused With Eiichiro Oda’s Decision

Lilith joining the Straw Hat crew might be a good thing, not only because she is one of Vegapunk’s satellites but also because she can be a big help for the next arc ofOne Piece.Vegapunk was one of the few characters who visited Elbaf and had a decent knowledge of the place. This could help the crew get the lay of the land before they reach there.

While the decision has not been officially confirmed byEiichiro Odahimself,One Piecefans have already expressed their opinions about Lilith being a Straw Hat member.

Although some fans are in favor of this decision, others are sad that they will not get to see Carrot and Yamato join the crew.

“Yamato as the 3rd female member!”

“We already have Vivi!”

Oda: Lol here’s a chick who’s actually a guy but is biologically a chick.

Them having a scientist would be big! Very different from how chopper and franky operates. I would think having a scientist would help them improve on a lot of quality things like enhancing devil fruits (Robin, Luffy, Chopper) and how to enhance weapons (Zoro, Usop, Nami, Jimbe?)

The Egghead Island arc is slowly reaching its conclusion and a new addition to the Straw Hat crew is certainly beneficial as this was just the first arc of the final saga. Luffy and his crew are going to face many more dangers in the future as they continue their journey to find theOne Piecetreasure.
