Razor only really fits into aMain DPS roleas he doesn’t provide any off-field support. However, the way his Elemental Burst functions with coordinated Electro attacks gives him a unique play style that can be fun to play with.

Razor’s Best Builds & Artifact Sets

Razor works best inPhysical Main DPS roles orDendroreaction Main DPS roles. With these different potential teams, there are a few artifacts you could use to build Razor.

4-Piece Pale Flame

Pale Flame is a great artifact set for anyPhysical Main DPSwith its2-Piece set bonus giving a 25% Physical DPS Bonus. While the4-Piece will increase ATK by 9% when landing an Elemental Skill which will stack up to 2 times.Once the maximum amounts of stacks are met, the 2-Piece set bonus will be increased by 100%. Razor’s Elemental Skill is easy to use and has a veryshort cooldown, which will make it easy to get the maximum amount of stacks from this set.

If you can’t find a good 4-Piece Pale Flame set, you can go for a2-Piece Gladiator’s Finale or 2-Piece Bloodstained Chivalryto get by until you get a full 4-Piece set.

Razor’s Best Team Compositions

Physical/Superconduct Team

Razor is a solidPhysical Main DPSwhich benefits heavily from theSuperconduct reaction due to its Physical Resistance shred. In this team,Fischl applies Electroto consistently trigger Superconduct withDiona andRosaria’s Cryo applicationas well as their own support such asShield/Healing or Crit Rate Increase. Meanwhile, Razor spends most of his time on the field as the Physical Carry.

Fischl is an easy Electro Sub-DPS to get, but you could also use other electro characters such asLisa, Dori orRaiden Shogun(Yae Miko may also work, but it will increase the rotation length by a lot).

Diona and Rosaria can be replaced with otherCryo supports or Sub-DPSsuch asLaylaor Kaeya.

“Thundering Furry” Team

This team known as “Thundering Furry” requiresa lot of Energy Rechargeas it relies on all characters' Elemental Bursts and builds Razor withfull Thundering Fury Elemental Masteryartifacts. This team also requiresBennett’s Constellation level 6 to work. This allows Razor toindependently trigger Overloadwhile Dendro Traveler andXingqiu’s burstallow him totrigger Aggravate and Bloom/Hyperbloom. This team can also work withXianglingif you don’t want to C6 your Bennett. However, it will be much more difficult due to her energy demands.

Surprisingly, a great weapon for this team on Razor is actually the3-Star weapon Bloodtainted Greatswordwith itsElemental Mastery Sub-Stat and increase to damage against opponents effected by Pyro or Electro.
