Genshin Impact’s 3.6 update marks the debut of a new world boss, the Iniquitous Baptist, and players are having quite a tough time dealing with it in the game. The Iniquitous Baptist is quite a crucial boss in the 3.6 Update because it drops an all-new item, the Evergloom Ring, alongside a plethora of other stuff.

Where To Find The Iniquitous Baptist
Genshin Impact’s newest boss can be slightly tricky to find unless you know where to look for them. The boss is hidden underground in the latest region that has been added as part of the 3.6 Update, Girdle of the Sands, and you need to unlock the area before you can fight him. Precisely, players need to head to the northern part of the Sumeru desert and head to Hangeh Afrasuya right below the Gate of Zulqarnain. To unlock the Gavireh Lajavard area, players can head to the Statue of the Seven near the Temir Mountains. With the area unlocked, fast travel to the waypoint near Tunigi Hollow, and head to the cave in Gate of Zulqarnain. Keep heading straight until you reach a large arena, which is where the Iniquitous Baptist resides.

How To Defeat The Iniquitous Baptist
Now that you have found the Iniquitous Baptist, you must be wondering what’s the right strategy to take it down. First things first, players need to know what elements the boss will be using. There are a total of three elements that it can use, and you’re able to know it beforehand by checking the orbs in the arena. Here are the possible combinations.
Depending on which elements the boss is using, you can employ different attacks to counter them. verify you are using the right party according to the elements, otherwise, things can become quite difficult for you. For better understanding, here are what attack types you can use against each of the types. The attacks are in order of their effectiveness, so it is advisable to use the first one for each of them.

The battle kicks off with the world boss spawning these rings of various elemental types. you’re able to take down the rings using the appropriate attacks by referring to the table above. At times, the boss can also spawn a shield, which again can be broken using the counter element from above. After taking down his shield and rings, the boss gets stunned and players can use Elemental Bursts to deal hefty damage on it.
