Genshin Impactand its China-based developer HoYoverse (previously miHoYo) has officially revealed all the banner rerun characters for Version 2.6.
Genshin Impactis still one of the most popular anime games worldwide. In Japan though, the origin country of mobile gacha games, the JRPG is rivaled or even surpassed in revenue byUma Musumeand nowHeaven Burns Red, the new game byAngel Beats' author Jun Maeda.
When it comes to sheer popularity though,Genshin Impactnever ceases to amaze on social media, thanks to its charismatic time-limited characters, highly sought after by fans. Those who missed past characters get the chance to pull them again with banner reruns, and two reruns were now confirmed for Version 2.6.
Genshin Impact 2.6 5-Star characters rerun explained
When announcing the 2.6 live stream, ChineseGenshin Impactsocials used an official image with chibi versions of Ayato and Ayaka, confirming Ayaka as a rerun character during the patch. A few hours ahead of the live stream, popular leaker UBatcha also confirmed Ayaka is the sole rerun character in the second half of the patch. There is no Kaedehara Kazuha rerun in 2.6.

Ayaka is one of the strongest Cryo DPS in the game, and can hit several enemies multiple times with her Charged Attack. Her E has a pretty short cooldown, and her Q can be hard to aim but will deal massive Cryo DMG on immobilized enemies. I definitely recommend her if you’re looking for a new Cryo character. Or simply if you like her design, personality, and voice by the popular Saori Hayami, as liking the character is always the best reason to pullrather than following the meta.
Meanwhile, Venti is the best Anemo character and the best when it comes to crowd control. His E has a ridiculously short cooldown and he has never been particularly power crept. As for Ayato, I’m sure anyone who wants to pull him will do so regardless of his gameplay, myself included. Especially seeing he’s voiced byAkira Ishida.

Genshin Impactwill hold its 2.6live stream later this March 18.Version 2.6 itself will launch on March 30. The live stream will feature brand new gameplay for Kamisato Ayato, new events, bosses, and last but not least the introduction of the Chasm area in Liyue.
