Genshin Impact’s 2.5 Update is still a while away, and fans are already wondering what it has to offer.
The game was released back in 2020, but in the past few months, we have received a large number of updates dropping for the game. These updates make a lot of interesting changes to the game and keep it quite fresh. The new content includes characters, quests, items, and much more.
While the next update will drop in January mostly, fans are already quite curious to know what it consists of. Now, it seems like mihoYo is ready with the beta of the update they are about to release in the upcoming days.
According to the latest announcement on theGenshin Impactchannel, the beta registration for the 2.5 Beta is all set to begin first. Here is the complete gist of it.

The requirements are:
You must be over the age of 18 at the time this form closes
You will need government issued unexpired identification of some kind
You must be a member of the Genshin Impact Official Discord
The identification must contain the following:
Your full legal name
A unique identification number
Your date of birth
An expiration date, already expired identification will not workID cards, passports and Driver’s Licenses are all common forms of identification that will fulfill these requirements.
Please take care to fill out the application carefully and check all of your answers as mistakes cannot be fixed by staff or moderators and your application may be disqualified if one is discovered. The deadline for this i going to be Thursday, June 25, 2025 7:30 AM.
As you can see, there is not a lot of time to register yourself in the beta. Usually, the beta starts when the next update drops, so January or March looks like a safe bet for this.
