With the manga ofJujutsu Kaisenreaching its near end (just a couple of chapters left), a growing concern among fans is the fate that the series seems to meet. The way the storyline has gone, especially in recent developments, created a stir among fans, who went to social media, channeling their disappointment and frustration in an intense debate.

The fear is that it will ultimately find its closure like its fellow popular manga,Bleach, which received a very rushed and unsatisfying conclusion. Is the ending ofJujutsu Kaisengoing to be similar as some fans claim or the allegations against it are completely wrong?
Fan Claims ThatJujutsu KaisenIs Giving Us a Boring Shonen Ending
One fan expressed his deep irritation on X, stating that it felt likeJujutsu Kaisenwas falling into a really generic, unsatisfying shonen ending. He discussed how the pacing also felt really fast and the story didn’t do justice with skipping the huge fight of Hakari. While cleaning up character arcs,Gege Akutamineedlessly revived characters, who were already dead with a satisfying conclusion.

i totally get where you’re comin from. the rushed pacin reely hurt the story, and the skipped fight felt like a missed opportunity. Bringin back characters only to sideline their arcs was frustratin too. It’s disappointin when a promisingshow falls
In his view, it has nothing to do with the story and relies too much on the terribly overused “power of friendship” trope.

When Will Jujutsu Kaisen End: Schedule, Release Date For Chapter 271 and What to Expect From Gege Akutami’s Ending?
But of course, the fan did not stop at that, accusing even the creator Gege Akutami of serious mishandling, regarding one of the key characters’ arcs by stating that,
Gege did hakari so dirty i’m surprised you’re defending this.
He confessed that his interest in the series only started going south from Chapter 236 as if he felt something in the story had been going downhill from then. These ranting posts reflect the feelings of fans who are worried thatJujutsu Kaisenis seriously in the act of wasting its potential, creating a lackluster ending.
However, Majority Of The Fandom Seems To Think The Ending Was Well Put
The fact that most of the fandom commented in support of the series’ final chapters, indicated at the very least that it was decently executed with the general spirit of the key themes of the story. One tweeted in refutation of the general post, that the fight between Hakari and Uraume was relatively inconsequential in terms of the bigger plot.
As much as I wanted to see more of the hakari fight it would’ve been kinda lame to see. All hakari would’ve done is spam rct and domain. It would’ve just been a wast tbh

The fight got skipped because there wouldn’t be much to show. Maybe we could’ve got another half chapter but it would just be hakari spamming rct. It was always going to end with power of friendship, it’s what Gojo was fighting for. It’s not perfect but to call it ass is a reach
And as far as Gojo’s character arc was concerned, the “power of friendship” was his endgame plan all along. Not that the conclusion itself was perfect, but the poster discarded harsher criticisms as an overreaction.

most surface lvl criticism i’ve ever seen
“This way of leaving stuff unexplained is commendable”: Jujutsu Kaisen’s Gege Akutami is a Fan of a Legendary Mangaka Whose Anime Was the Original Godfather of Twist Endings Before Christopher Nolan
The last few promised chapters ofJujutsu Kaisenare eagerly awaited by fans with expectancy that might redeem what it still lacks. As the series itself is about to see its official ending, it will indeed be interesting to note whether these remaining chapters serve as the tide to change for the overall betterment of the story or not!
